Richard Eilenberg (13 January 1848 – 5 December 1927) was a German composer. == Life == Born in Merseburg, Eilenberg's musical career began with the study of piano and composition. At 18 years old, he composed his first work, a concert overture. As a volunteer he participated in the Franco-Prussian War from 1870 to 1871.
