Monica Stucchi (born 28 May 1963), known by her stage name Valerie Dore, is an Italian singer. == Career == Monica Stucchi was born in Milan, Italy. Prior to her career in music, she worked as a graphic designer. In the early 1980s she fronted The Watermelon String Band, a bluegrass ensemble led by the banjoist Bruno Guaitamacchi that performed in the Milan clubs circuit.
